Kairos is a non-profit mental health agency providing a variety of services to children, adolescents, young adults, and their families in various locations throughout Oregon. Over its 38 year history, Kairos has become known state-wide and nationally for innovation, quality, and accountability in its provision of services to those struggling with trauma and other mental health issues that inhibit effective functioning in school, home, the workplace, or the community. Kairos commits itself to continuous learning and grounding of evidence based treatment models and emerging best practices in mental health through partnerships and training opportunities with leaders in the mental health field, such as Stuart Ablon (ThinkKids -- Collaborative Problem Solving), Bruce Perry (Child Trauma Academy), and John Lyons (CANS -- Praed Foundation). Kairos has been accredited by The Joint Commission since 1984, is licensed by the Oregon Health Authority Office of Licensing and Regulatory Oversight, and certified by the Oregon Health Authority Addictions and Mental Health Division.
