The Goal is to see the child. That we can step up and meet their needs despite their behaviors. That we see those behaviors as survival strategies of someone who is struggling and craves connection. It is our obligation and our mission to meet that need and let them have a voice. Our goal is to tell them that they matter and that we see them. We recognize that this requires compassionate individuals to become trained caregivers and professionals. As caregivers we must be cognizant of ourselves and our own healing, so that we can provide the best possible care to those who come after us. We must therefore understand that it requires both nurture and structure in equal parts to succeed. We know that this is hard. However, we must stay calm, face our own fears, meet the need, and never quit. If we don't make this choice, then who will? At The Production Farm, we strive to make mental health care accessible, reliable, trauma informed and person-centered.
