Were seeking a skilled Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) to join our Corporate Contract Launch Team a unique and impactful role supporting the successful startup of new correctional healthcare sites. If youre adaptable, compassionate, and ready to make a difference from day one, this role is for you.
What Youll Do:Conduct mental health assessments through interviews, case history reviews, and observations to identify treatment needs.
Provide short-term, solution-focused therapy and crisis intervention during contract go-live and early stabilization periods.
Utilize DSM-5 criteria to guide evaluations and inform appropriate clinical interventions.
Develop and implement interdisciplinary treatment plans in collaboration with other medical and mental health providers.
Coordinate care with facility staff, MEDIKO providers, and correctional partners to ensure continuity of care.
Document all services, treatment progress, and updates to care plans in accordance with clinical standards and facility requirements.
Deliver on-site support to new mental health staff and assist with onboarding and adherence to MEDIKO protocols.
Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary treatment adjustments based on follow-up and patient response.
Maintain compliance with professional, legal, and facility standards for documentation, infection control, safety, and quality assurance.
Travel to various correctional facilities across MEDIKO's footprint to support new contract launches and post-go-live stabilization.
Other duties as assigned.
Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent licensure required
Correctional healthcare experience required
Previous experience supporting new program launches, startup teams, or dynamic clinical environments strongly preferred
Active CPR/BLS certificate required (American Heart Association/American Red Cross guideline approved)
COREMR (EHR) experience required
Experience with crisis intervention and short-term counseling
Strong working knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and therapeutic best practices
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to work across disciplines and facility leadership teams
Must be highly flexible, self-directed, and comfortable working independently in a variety of correctional settings
Willingness to work from various locations and adapt to evolving clinical needs
