Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Counselor

Description/Notes:
Perform primary role of the LPC/Mental Health counselor at Llano ISD is to assist with identifying and providing support to students, families and campuses in an effort to overcome barriers that interfere with learning through the use of assessment, counseling, consultation, and coordination of school and community resources. The counselor utilizes knowledge of human behavior, social, emotional, and community systems to guide service delivery. The counselor will also service all special education students who have counseling services addressed through individual education plans.

Qualifications:
Requires Masters degree from accredited university in Social Work/Licensed Mental Counselor and Texas Certificate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Mental Health Counselor
