Pros Excellent teams in administration, therapy and psychiatry. A growing practice with family values. Support across all teams is offered and available. Flexibility Two locations We have been making strides in becoming more current with updating the practices operating standards - new phone system, electronic prescribing, adapting an electronic records system, direct deposit. There are always peopling smiling... I think that's the best sign of a positive work environment. Cons It's a privately run practice, if you are used to having a dedicated human resources department, we don't have that. What we do have is an owner and Director of Operations who strive to meet all those needs on a more personal level. Not necessarily a con, certainly an adjustment, depending on what you're used to.

Pros SRI is the best company I've ever worked for, full stop. Our office has a happy and calm vibe that makes it easy to focus and get a lot done. We are a large practice, but with a community feel. My job is to worry about all things insurance so that our therapists and patients can focus on the services. Among our office staff, I like that it feels like we’re all bringing the same level of effort each day. Our therapists are responsive in between all the sessions, so we’re able to address patient concerns as they come up. This is honestly the most professional and cooperative group of people I’ve ever had the privilege to work with. Everyone cares about SRI being a nice place to work, and about giving our patients the best experience possible. Sometimes, I’ve made suggestions about improvements we could make to our processes or our workflow, and my supervisor always takes the time to discuss these with me. We adopt changes and the company makes larger upgrades (ie, a change to a new EHR system) when needed. It’s awesome that SRI is so responsive! It makes the quality of life factor really high for me here. Cons Not strictly a con, but we don’t participate with Medicaid. With the number of insurance products out there these days, I find that a lot of callers are confused about what kind of insurance they have, so I do spend part of my time disambiguating for people. It can be confusing for them that we participate with Aetna, but not “Aetna Better Health” for example. I don’t like to take time away from my already busy schedule, but I care about helping people connect with the care they’re looking for.
