The Southeast Asian Development Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to lifting children, youth and families from Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam out of poverty.  Our services are structured around providing low-income and vulnerable Southeast Asian Americans with basic needs and skills critical to building successful futures.

Since 1977, we have served 20,000 Southeast Asian clients, provided job placement for 6,000 high school youth and 800 adults, offered counseling to 2,000 clients and substance prevention programs to 4,000 youth, and supported 4,000 clients with language translation services. The vast majority of clients served come from low- or extremely low-income households. While our local government partnerships help us deliver services to our clients, it is the generosity of individual donors and foundations that enables our staff to provide the sustained and stable support our clients need over time.
