Extended School Year - Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Essential Duties:

• Ensure behavioral strategies are implemented consistently and accurately across all school environments and teaching staff.
• Develop data-taking strategies that are easily implemented across all environments.
• Conduct FBAs, develop educational and behavioral programs as well as train and supervise staff responsible for program implementation.
• Coordinate with Director of Special Services a schedule of students to be reviewed for additional support.
• Participate in presenting student progress to Director, Administrators, Staff and Parents.
• Conduct ongoing, hands on training for all team members.
• Be familiar with various communication and assistive technology tools for students with a variety of disabilities.
• Stay current in research trends in the fields of autism and neurological disorders.
• Maintain current licensure and/or certification and work toward additional licenses or certifications where required or appropriate.
• Attend students' IEP meeting as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• BCBA certification as defined by and subject to federal and state laws, polices and regulations.
• LBSI or School/Clinical Psychologist licensure preferred.
• An interest and/or experience in working with a diverse student population representing a variety of disabilities including students with complex behaviors, autism and intellectual disabilities.
• The ability to work collaboratively with others to optimize student achievement.

Term:

Extended School Year - June 9, 2025 to July 16, 2025; 8:15 am - 12:00 pm
